Doja Cat may have had to pull out of the BRITS due to COVID concerns recently, but she isn't leaving fans with nothing. The rapping and singing pop star has been very inventive with the music videos from her recent effort Planet Her, and she continues that tradition with a space-age clip for her banger "Get Into It (Yuh)."
The clip takes inspiration from things like Star Trek, The Fifth Element and Japanese anime as she plays the captain of a spacecraft on the hunt for her most prized possession: her kitty cat Starscream. She and her scantily clad crew get in contact with the feline's captor as he and Doja exchange harsh words. This leads to an outfit and hair change as she and her troop arrive on the villain's starship to get Starscream back. Rather than defeat him by sheer force, though, they twerk their way to victory, confusing the fiendish alien enough for Doja to bitchslap him and take her kitty back.
The colorful, campy and fun clip is exactly what we've come to expect from Doja Cat as she continues to show that she isn't a one-trick pony or flash in the pan. Get into the video for "Get Into It (Yuh)" when you press play.
