Ari Lennox returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live! with a new look and a No. 1 song. On Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel welcomed her to his stage to perform her hit single "Pressure," and she applied just that.

The songstress looked like quite the R&B diva rocking long wavy tresses, a chic sequined mini, a beat face and red fingernails. Her glam was on jam, but it was her vocals that really woke up the late-night audience. Ari's mic was all the way on, and she sounded excellent singing the flirtatious number co-written by Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox and Johnta Austin.

Lennox was joined by an all-women band led by musical director Venzella Joy who was on drums. The stage was decorated like a float at The Rose Parade with an abundance of multicolored roses at the performers' feet.

Ari first appeared on Kimmel in December 2020 to sing a medley of "Chocolate Pomegranate" and "If You Want Me To Stay," her cover of Sly & The Family Stone's classic made into a duet with Anthony Ramos. That was during the height of the pandemic, so the performance was recorded remotely at the 930 Club in her hometown of Washington, D.C. This "Pressure" performance was actually her first time appearing on Jimmy's L.A. stage, and Ari showed up and showed out.
