Alicia Keys, Khalid & Lucky Daye Show Their Creative Process In 'Come For Me (Unlocked)'

Alicia Keys has been giving us art with the release of her latest set KEYS. Not only does the double album show us two sides of her musical personality, but she's also offered up dope visuals to accompany the set (not to mention a recent short film). Now she's taking us behind the scenes and into her creative process with the visual for her latest single from the set "Come For Me (Unlocked)."

The song, a collaboration with Khalid and Lucky Daye, finds the trio longing for someone who would show up for them. The video, meanwhile, focuses on how the song came to be. We see Alicia, Lucky and Khalid brainstorming melodies while sipping on wine. We then watch them take it to the studio while Khalid and Lucky lay down their vocals as Alicia works on the melody. When we get to her parts, we get more of a proper video treatment. Alicia gets glammed up a bit more as she poses and performs through the streets of New York City and even goes for a ride while staring at the city lights.

With KEYS satisfying her contract — making Alicia Keys a newly indie artist — we're left to wonder just how much more creative the singer-songwriter will become without the major label constraints. While we ponder that, watch her create when you peep "Come For Me (Unlocked)" below.
