Ambré & Alex Isley Join serpentwithfeet On The Remix To 'Fellowship'

As he prepares for the release of DEACON’s Grove, a companion piece to his DEACON album, Los Angeles-based artist serpentwithfeet appeases anxious fans with a star-studded remix of one of the project’s standout tracks. With original production from Sampha and Lil Silva, the feel-good single “Fellowship” flourishes even further with additional verses from Ambré and Alex Isley.

For the accompanying Rush Davis-directed visual, one would never know that the track marked the first time the talented trio has worked together. The serene capture set along a shoreline emits pure and palpable energy, as they sip champagne and simply enjoy each other’s company. Continuing along with the love fest, serpent notes, "I am such a huge fan of Ambré and Alex Isley. I knew they'd bring so much magic to the remix. It was an honor to work with them.”

This latest offering serves as the second release from serpentwithfeet’s forthcoming EP and follows the lead single "Down Nuh River."  Touted as “an intimate, intoxicating gospel-R&B opus,” the preceding DEACON album was said to highlight his “growth as a songwriter, embracing straightforward approaches to ‎expression.” The project is described as “a study rather than a story, delving into Black, gay love and the tenderness present in the best companionships, romantic or otherwise.” Noting that he originally sought out to create “something that felt very sensuous,” he wanted the companion EP "to feel loving and a little playful.”
