'Crazy Tings' Are All In A Day's Work For Tems

Tems' star continues to rise. With her feature on WizKid's "Essence" still dominating airwaves and finding footing on the charts — not to mention her high-profile spot on Drake's recent Certified Lover Boy — the Nigerian singer is the talk of the town. Her recent EP If Orange Were A Place gives newcomers to her talent a way to hear what she sounds like on her own. She's also giving new fans a closer look with the release of her video for single "Crazy Tings."

The song itself might be about her cutting off a toxic lover who can't help but lie to her constantly, but Tems makes the video all about her hometown of Lagos. The clip follows the singer throughout a set made up to look like parts of the city and its everyday happenings. That includes children playing, overworked mothers, around the way girls making that money and any and everything happening in between. Tems, meanwhile, acts as sort of a guide as she mixes and mingles with the environment as she sings the song's lilting melody directly to the camera. She eventually ends up getting lost in the groove at a party by clip's end with a smile on her face as she casts off all that comes with a rather eventful day.

With a charm that crosses oceans and genres, we have a feeling that we'll be seeing and hearing a lot more from Tems. Get accustomed to her beautiful face when you check out the video for "Crazy Tings" right here.
