With a voice like hers, you'd think that Snoh Aalegra would be stuck singing slow songs about falling in and out of love. She stepped out of her comfort zone for her recent album TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIES, including a few club-ready tracks on the set that made us take notice. Now one of those songs, the Tyler, The Creator-featuring "NEON PEACH," gets a quirky video to match its irresistible vibe.
The lyrical content of "NEON PEACH" has nothing to do with its abstract title. That's mainly because she never changed the name that Tyler — who also produced the track — gave the song's demo when she recorded it. Continuing in that tradition, the video also has nothing to do with the lyrics. Instead, the pair take the opportunity to showcase looks and vibes as we get into the song's catchy rhythm. Snoh is ever the model as she gives us sleek looks fresh off the runway and then switches it up with a sexy latex number and then a baggy streetwear look accentuated by her own curly locks. Tyler meanwhile keeps things in his recent cardigan and sweater vest lane as he cuts up in his own scenes and shows off his blonde 'do. They end the clip with the reveal that the scenes we see are actually what that two have been seeing under a microscope. We told you the visual had nothing to do with the song.
Either way, the song is a jam and the video is a vibe. Get into Snoh Aalegra and Tyler, The Creator having fun and looking great while doing it in "NEON PEACH" when you press play.
