We're just a week away from SG8*, the latest EP from DUCKWRTH. The multi-talent has been making us groove in the lead up to the set with tracks "Birthday Suit," "make u go" and "4K." With each of those releases, the artist has been content with only a single release and the release of a repetitive visualizer. He breaks that trend, however, by dropping an official video for "4K."
The visual for "4K" takes the song's cinematic aspirations to the next level by casting DUCKWRTH in an actual (but yet fake) film as we are taken behind the scenes of its creation. We're introduced to a temperamental director who seems to be unhappy that the singer/rapper is his leading man and never misses a chance to hate on him. The artist takes it in stride, however, as he poses it up with his love interest as they create multiple romantic scenes while traipsing through the Bahamas in idyllic settings. Despite how great it all looks, the director still interrupts enough to give DUCKWRTH a chance to slip a snippet of his track "We Outside" into the mix before we slip back into the scenes at hand, with our star finally delivering a performance that elicits a positive reaction from the director.
While we don't get an appearance from track guest Phabo, the clip is another winner from DUCKWRTH that has us for the arrival of SG8* on September 3rd.
