James Vickery Offers Another Taste Of 'Songs That Made Me Feel' With 'Finally'

We will soon be jamming to the soulful sounds of James Vickery as his album Songs That Made Me Feel inches closer and closer to release. He's been giving us glimpses of what's to come all year with singles "Somewhere, Out There," "You Comfort Me" and "Come To Me." Before we get the full album, though, he's giving us one last listen with new track "Finally."

Vickery turns to fellow Brit SG Lewis for production duties on this one and their chemistry shows. James rides the smooth, synth-laden groove as he creates yet another romantically themed offering. And when we say romantic, we mean it. "Finally" finds him reveling in the love he's found. "I've waited for years / As long as it takes / 'Cause you were the light that brightened up my day," he sings on one of the verses. "My world is you / Just wait and see / We're goin' nowhere 'til you're comin' home." James follows the romantic vibes with the song's video. The dimly lit setting sets a definite mood thanks to vibrant red-lighting that gives James' smoldering looks at the camera even more fire. In fact, it works so well that he doesn't even need a romantic lead.

Songs That Made Me Feel is set to drop this Friday (July 16th). We know we'll be picking up a copy. But just in case you're on the fence, stream "Finally" and watch its music video when you press play below.
