Bruno Mars is actually banking on that sentiment and he's hoping you'll do it with a drink featuring his new SelvaRey Rum. He's partnered with his boys James Fauntleroy and Anderson .Paak to give us the rum's first jingle and persuade us to make the brand our drink of choice this summer.
The trio don their best tropical shirts and shades as they get into the groove — with a production assist from D'Mile — to sing about their new favorite liquor brand. "Everybody’s sippin' on rum punch and mai tais / Piña coladas / Poolside," James croons as Bruno and Andy harmonize. "I’m talkin bout dancin' / All night and day / A party ain’t a party without SelvaRey." The short but sweet ad definitely captures the luxurious tropical vibe that the brand is going for while throwing in some of the '70s aesthetic of Bruno and Anderson's Silk Sonic.
