Carmen Rodgers had us seeing stars when she dropped her last full-length album Stargazer back in 2015. The songstress hasn't exactly been gone from the music scene in the time since, but it has been a while since we've heard her voice on the solo tip. Luckily, our wait is over today as she's dropped her new single "Again And Again."
Carmen turns to her good friend (and +FE family) Nicolay to lace her on the production side of the track. He gives her a silky smooth, guitar-driven groove that fits her voice like a glove. Carmen, of course, knows exactly what to do with that. She delivers breathy, love-struck coos as she describes falling deeper and deeper for the object of her affections. "I've been waiting / To show you how I belong to you," she sings on the opening verse. "See me, feel me / You know this to be forever true." She then lets them know that she's willing to do whatever is requested of her again and again. The song is simply rapturous and a perfect way to warm the coming winter nights.
Could "Again And Again" be the first listen of the long-teased Hello Human album? The songstress has not confirmed this as of yet. However, we do know that we will be listening to this new Carmen Rodgers joint over and over again.
