Carlitta Durand just dropped her new single "My Business," but little did we know that it was the lead single to a whole album. After taking a few years away from the music scene to nurture her growing family (she's a wife and mother of three), the North Carolina-based beauty has been itching to get back in the game and she's doing so in a mighty way with the announcement of her new album Kismet Green and reveal of its cover art and tracklist.
Kismet Green follows 2015's I'll Be Gorgeous When I Die and will contain a total of 11 tracks. Alongside "My Business" are features by previous collaborator and fellow North Carolinian Phonte on the song "Blackberry," Aarik Duncan on "Gentle People" and Durand Bernarr on the track "I Guess," produced by Zo! and Tall Black Guy Productions.
Carlitta is wasting no time in getting Kismet Green out to her fans, with its release date scheduled for Tuesday, November 24th. That's just in time for Thanksgiving, and given Carlitta Durand's track record, we'll be quite thankful to get this album into our hands.
