When Sunshine Anderson released her single "Level Up" last October, we just knew that she was creeping up on a comeback with the 10-year anniversary of her last album on the horizon for 2020. But along came a certain global pandemic that canceled everyone's plans. Thankfully, Sunshine believes in no bop left behind and gives the single a second wind with the release of its music video.
The "Level Up" video sees Sunshine luxuriating at home, both in bed and in front of a fireplace, and also strutting her stuff down streets of downtown Charlotte, North Carolina, where she's called home for many years. Our girl is sporting a cute short hairdo and three chic outfits, one of which we were concerned might result in a wardrobe malfunction but her girls stayed put. Although it would have been nice to see a love interest in the clip since the song is about leveling up with a potential boo thang, this video is Sunshine's show and she needs no help in shining.
Music isn't the only thing that Sunshine Anderson has been working on. She will soon add author to her resume. The songstress has written a book entitled #1 Hit Wonder: 7 Steps To Reinvent Yourself that is currently available for pre-order via her Instagram page. While we wait for her book to be released, hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer for new music from this powerhouse singer whose voice has truly been missed.
