Toni Braxton Is Ready To Two-Step Her Cares Away In 'Dance'

The summer seems to be the perfect time for all our greats to return to us. We've already gotten brand new material from several faves in the past couple months, and August is bringing some heavy hitters back into the spotlight. That includes industry veteran Toni Braxton, who will be blessing us with her newest album Spell My Name. And she is making the three weeks until its release seem much shorter with her new single "Dance." Of course, you can't put out a jam like this and not give us a video for it. Toni felt that, too, and now we've got an official visual for the track.

"Dance" seems to be an amalgamation of previous Toni Braxton videos. There's the slick visual style of her "Long As I Live" video (which shouldn't be surprising as this one is also directed by Mike Ho), which pairs Toni's sexy looks with polished sets, water effects and tightly choreographed numbers. There there's the second portion of the video, which combines elements reminiscent of Toni classics "You're Making Me High" and "He Wasn't Man Enough For Me" and giving it all an updated vibe with a sleek black-and-white theme.

With her singles "Do It" (and its remix) and "Dance," it looks like Spell My Name might be a return to form from one of our favorite singers. We'll see if that is true when Toni Braxton releases Spell My Name on August 28th. Go ahead and get your "Dance" on when you press play.
