Ne-Yo & Jeremih Only Want 'U 2 Luv'

Being stuck in quarantine with your boo, bae, wife, husband, partner or significant other can go from being sweet and romantic to boring and routine. But Ne-Yo and Jeremih are here to help you set the mood once again with their new track “U 2 Luv.” Of the track, the “So Sick” singer says, “My friend Jeremih and I have created the perfect soundtrack for you and your quarantine bae.”

Produced by Retro Future and Curtis “Sauce” Wilson, the track interpolates both Zapp & Roger’s “Computer Love” and Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit” into a laid-back electro-funk ballad where the two lotharios express their need to get intimate with the ladies in their lives. “I only want you to love / I don’t want nobody else,” they croon, along with sharing other sweet nothings.

To celebrate the single’s launch, Ne-Yo teamed up with Postmates to support healthcare workers caring for COVID-19 patients. On the release day of the single, hero nurses in the ICU at Emory Medical Center in Atlanta received meals from Subway thanks to Ne-Yo, Postmates and Feed Hero Nurses, a volunteer-run organization in partnership with Random Acts, an organization dedicated to providing meals to nurses on the frontlines.

“U 2 Love” follows up Ne-Yo’s divorce announcement single “Pinky Ring,” and both songs will appear on his forthcoming untitled album. Until that project drops, you can check out the multi-talented artist as a judge on the new season NBC’s World Of Dance.
