New Kids On The Block, Boyz II Men, Naughty By Nature, Big Freedia & Jordin Sparks Have A 'House Party' & You're Invited

New Kids On The Block is back with new music. Yes, you read that right. Before you roll your eyes and keep scrolling, however, the boy band outta Boston is back with a purpose during this global pandemic with a fun single entitled "House Party," and even though all members are practicing social distancing, they're not partying alone. Joining NKOTB on the track are fellow group Boyz II Men, hip-hop trio Naughty By Nature, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and the Queen Diva herself Big Freedia. That lineup may sound pretty random, but when you’re living in quarantine, where something besides Beyoncé has made the world stop and 45 is encouraging people to drink bleach, all the rules have been thrown out the window. Well, except for one: stay home. And that’s what this unique ensemble has come together to encourage you to do on “House Party.”

While Houseparty is a popular video chat platform, it is also the message of the day to ensure the safety and welfare of our friends, family and ourselves. The New Kids turn this message into a midtempo pop-R&B bop, with a little help from their friends. Members of NKOTB and BIIM hold down the majority of the vocals while Jordin adds some background ad-libs and harmonies, Treach and Vinnie spit family-friendly verses and Big Freedia hypes people up.

In addition to the single, the New Kids and company dropped a music video with footage of everyone involved turning up and practicing social distancing in their own homes with their families. A few celebrity guests join in on the fun with cameos from Mark WahlbergKen JeongNicole Scherzinger, Kid ‘n PlayCarrie Underwood and Donnie's wife Jenny McCarthy. Although he's not in the video, D-Nice is even namechecked on the song, which makes perfect sense because his Club Quarantine DJ sets on IG Live have become the soundtrack to everyone's house party for the past month.

Of course, “House Party” isn’t all fun, games and dance moves. Proceeds from the song will benefit No Kid Hungry, a non-profit dedicated to feeding children in need. For many children, the only meals they receive are at school. Now stuck at home, many will go hungry – without the help of generous souls. Get into the audio and video right here, and make a donation to No Kid Hungry directly or by purchasing “House Party” merch from NKOTB's online store, which will donate 100% of net proceeds to the organization.
