It was only a matter of time before two of Houston's hottest made a collaboration. Well, friends, that time is now and Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé have joined forces on the remix to hot girl Meg's viral track "Savage."
By now we all already know the original, whether it be from banging it on our own speakers or seeing it all over the 'gram and TikTok thanks to the #SavageChallenge that even got some big-name stars involved. The remix ups the H-Town savagery, though, as Bey taps into her rap side from the very beginning to let you know what's about to go down. Megan follows with a reworked yet equally braggadocious about her steez, her body and her wallet just in case you thought things had changed. Bey comes back again to let you know that though you might not see her on socials, she still knows what's popping in these e-streets. "Hips TikTok when I dance / On that Demon Time / She might start an OnlyFans," she raps with confidence before letting you know that she's got some "real a**" to show you in case you forgot. The ladies continue to go back and forth for a few bars on the track, each making convincing arguments as to why Texas women (and themselves specifically) have the game on lock.
They also have charity on lock as Meg and Bey's proceeds from the track (which, as expected, is dominating the iTunes charts) will go directly to Bread Of Life — a Houston-based nonprofit which provides disaster relief and is working to help those affected by COVID-19.
