Little Brother Gets Reflective In 'Everything'

Little Brother came back on the scene strong with their reunion album May The Lord Watch last summer. After releasing a video for lead single "Black Magic (Make It Better)" in August, Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh have now dropped a second visual, this time for the track “Everything.” Produced by Khrysis, the song is a weighty track where Little Brother trade bars about life, love and everything in between. For the Holland Randolph Gallagher-directed music video, we get a glimpse of life on the road for Tay and Pooh.

The black-and-white clip starts with LB's familiar “UBN” logo and a voiceover from Phonte. It then transitions to scenes of the fellas and members of their crew waking up in their respective hotel rooms and getting their day started. Phonte delivers his lyrics while gazing out of the windows of his room. Meanwhile, Big Pooh arises from his slumber and spits his reflections from the edge of these bed. Back in North Carolina, singer Carlitta Durand, who contributes her vocals to the song, is seen going about her day as usual. In between these scenes, Gallagher cuts in quick clips of vintage footage from classic films and other sources that coordinate with the lyrics they spit. The video ends with Phonte and Pooh uniting in the hotel's hallway then making their way to the next stage, which they of course rock.

With Little Brother's concert tour put on pause due to the 'Rona, it's great to see them in action and in their element in this video and to revisit one of the many bangers on May The Lord Watch.
