Angela Muñoz Strips Down In 'I Don't Care' Video & Announces Debut Album 'Introspection'

After releasing her debut single "I Don’t Care" last month, our latest Bounce-Worthy discovery Angela Muñoz returns with the accompanying visual for the self-love anthem. Directed by composer/producer/musician/label owner Adrian Younge, the video features the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter/musician as she peels back the layers and strips down to her most honest, most comfortable self. We watch as she trades in the lashes and the make-up for a fresh face, and sheds her pink ball gown for some vintage threads. She makes her way to a music store, cops an electric guitar and spends the rest of the day just being basking in her unapologetic authenticity. The clip is a simple depiction of the song’s “take me as I am” message and allows fans to see more of Muñoz as she continues to carve her space outside of The Midnight Hour collective.

In addition to sharing her first video, Angela has also provided a few details about her upcoming debut album. The project is aptly entitled Introspection and is slated to drop on June 19 on Younge's Linear Labs label. She believes the heart of music is emotion and that is where she finds her personal liberty and strength, so we can likely expect the same type of unrepentant transparency we felt on the lead single. At just 18, her impeccable voice and seasoned soul energy reeled us all in early on, and we can’t wait to hear more.
