Singer Snoh Aalegra recently paid a visit to the good folks over at NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series where she blessed them with a soulful performance of a couple of cuts from her ever-growing catalog. The performance's release comes on the heels of her Pharrell-assisted remix of "Whoa."

During her 16-minute set, Aalegra is backed by a band large enough to flow beyond the confines of the desk the series takes its name from, including two backing vocalists, a guitar player, bassist, drummer, keyboardist, and the Matt Jones Orchestra. She kicks things off with a stripped-down performance of "Love Like That" before launching into "I Want You Around," the first single from her most recent album, Ugh, those feels again. The strings add another layer to "Whoa," leaving us warm and fuzzy in the process.

Other songs that got the Tiny Desk treatment include "Fool For You," which was taken from her previous album, FEELS, and the performance's closer, "Find Someone Like You." The latter allows Aalegra and her backing vocalists the space to showcase their vocals, lending the song an almost gospel-tone, similar to the one Amazon Music exclusive remix that she dropped last year featuring Chicago's One Voice Choir.

Sit back, press play and enjoy this sweet set from the Swedish chanteuse. Next up for her is a return to the tour life as part of a North American tour that kicks off in Vancouver and will keep her on the road through May where she will wrap things up in Philly when she takes the stage during the 2020 Roots Picnic.
