First comes love, then comes – the break-up. Then maybe you find yourself in a situationship where you’re no longer with your ex, but the two of you are still messing around like you’re together, even though you’re not together-together. It can be an emotional roller coaster, or, as Tiffany Evans describes in her latest single, a “Merry Go Round.”
“Merry Go Round” finds Tiffany going through the motions with an ex. Even though she is officially broken up with her man, she is stuck in the same cycle of lies, broken promises and great sex and the situationship takes a toll on the singer.
For the video, Evans once again steps into the director’s chair alongside co-director Zu. The clip starts with Tiff standing outside of her home waiting for her ex to pick her up. Of course, he’s full of excuses and raises her blood pressure. The exasperated singer strips down to her lingerie and struts around her home, contemplating how she’s going to get over this love that’s good for her body but not for her soul. When she's not in scenes rolling around on her bed or in a bathtub of water, Tiffany and a team of dancers perform some slick moves courtesy of choreographer Brandon Forrest. The tumultuous choreography represents her emotions running wild.
“Merry Go Round” will be featured on Tiffany Evans new project to be released sometime early this year. While working on the follow up to her 2015 album, All Me, the “On Sight” singer has also appeared on Cristian Tyler’s “90s R&B” single and wrote “Like This” for season 3 of STAR.
