Queen Of Christmas Mariah Carey To Reign This Holiday Season On 'All I Want For Christmas Is You Tour'

Fans and lambs call her Mimi, but Mariah Carey has picked up a new nickname along the way: Queen of Christmas. Mrs. Claus ain't got nothing on Mariah, who has made Christmas hers thanks to the success of her modern classic "All I Want For Christmas Is You." The yuletide song is the gift that keeps on giving, and Mariah is gonna ride it each holiday season until the wheels fall off and long after that. She actually has good reason now, though, as "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and her album Merry Christmas both turn 25 years old this year.

To celebrate this milestone year for "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and Merry Christmas, Mariah is embarking on the All I Want For Christmas Is You Tour. The tour is being presented by Hallmark Channel, and it will only hit six cities for 10 shows during a limited run starting in November. Mimi will return to Las Vegas with a string of five dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to kick things off on November 22nd. From there, she'll then jump in her sleigh and travel up and down the East Coast in December. Carey will spread Christmas cheer starting in Atlantic City on December 7th and wrap everything up with a bow at a show at New York's Madison Square Garden on December 15th. Her MSG show will actually mark the first time that she performs her Christmas extravaganza at the venue.

It's never too early to make your Christmas plans as far as Mariah is concerned. Tickets to catch her Vegas shows on the All I Want For Christmas Is You Tour are on sale now via Live Nation. Tickets for the remaining dates on her holiday tour go on sale on Friday, October 4th also on Live Nation starting at 10 a.m. local time. Because membership has its privileges, tickets for her fan club members are available for purchase now.

Going on her All I Want For Christmas Is You Tour isn't the only thing on Mariah Carey's holiday to-do list. The elusive chanteuse also plans to release a 2-CD Deluxe Anniversary Edition of Merry Christmas on Friday, November 1st. According to a press release, the new deluxe edition will feature the original album and have a ton of extras, including "a bonus disc featuring previously unreleased live tracks from Mariah’s 1994 St. John The Divine Benefit Concert, rare remixes, a brand-new, festive rendition of the Sugar Plum Fairy and additional seasonal tracks."

Get ready to celebrate the holidays with the Queen of Christmas as she shares all of her gifts. If you can't make it to see Mariah on the All I Want For Christmas Is You Tour or if Christmas isn't really your thing, make plans to catch her in February 2020 back in Vegas when The Butterfly Returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
