Can Keke Palmer Hustle Up A High Score For ELLE's 'Song Association'?

Keke Palmer might just hold the title of hardest working woman in show business. The rising young star can currently be found on the big and small screens thanks to her role in Jennifer Lopez's latest star vehicle Hustlers and a hosting gig on Strahan, Sara & Keke weekday afternoons. But the actress is also a songbird as well, so you know ELLE had to have her sit down for its ever-popular "Song Association" series.

Keke came on pretty strong during her stint in the hot seat. She started with an easy win by checking her own song "Wind Up" and then followed that up by pulling Beyoncé's "Pretty Hurts" out of her bag. Things got a little rocky toward the middle, though, when she was thrown the word "stretch." She tried to cheat with an interpolation of "Stop In The Name Of Love" but ultimately lost to the buzzer before remembering Ma$e's comeback joint "Breath, Stretch, Shake." That was her only misstep, as she got back on track and dropped songs by everyone from Brandy and Omarion to Cassidy and Ray J. Unlike most competitors, Keke also got to share a few thoughts about her current project — including dishing on what it was like to work with J. Lo and Cardi B as well as her favorite songs by the two.

Keke may have missed the perfect score of 15 out of 15 that counterparts Lizzo and Ciara reached, much to her Virgo chagrin, but she did pretty well for herself regardless — and she still bested some of her R&B peers. Watch the star in action below.
