Ari Lennox Was 'Up Late' With Masego On 'The Tonight Show'

The "Shea Butter Baby" herself, Ari Lennox made her network television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night. Armed with two songs from her highly-acclaimed album, the first lady of Dreamville delivered a true quiet storm moment for the late-night show.

For her set, Ari delivered a medley of the tracks “Up Late” and “BMO.” Dressed in a dramatic, red, floor-length, froufrou coat and thigh-high, white snakeskin boots, Ari looked equal parts vixen and girl next door with her natural hair and simple makeup as serenaded the audience. She kicked her performance off with her ode to a late-night creep, “Up Late.” With special guest accompaniment on the saxophone from Trap House Jazz maestro Masego, Ari sang her heart out about getting some good loving. She then seamlessly slipped into the breezy uptempo groove “BMO,” giving us a slight two-step as she encouraged her man to break her off some of that good-good.

"BMO" has summer jam written all over it, so we're crossing our fingers that it's her next single. While we wait to find out, get into Ari's smooth, shea buttery performance on Jimmy Fallon's stage right here.
