Flying Lotus Gives Us 'More' With Help From Anderson .Paak & Announces North American Tour

Flying Lotus is getting ready to set our ears on fire with his upcoming album Flamagra. So far, he's revealed two new tracks — "Spontaneous" and "Takashi" — that have us completely open for whatever he's got coming our way. He also revealed a list of features that has us ready to hear more. Speaking of "More," that happens to be the name of the Anderson .Paak feature that will be included on the set. It also happens to be the latest listen that we're getting from the upcoming project.

"More" finds the two playing in the aesthetics of psychedelic soul. It kicks off in the deep end with spaced-out sounds, layered vocals, multi-patterned drums and bass and guitar lines that meander their way into the pocket. It then abruptly switches to more modern production with a focus on the hard-hitting drums. AP switches between rapping using his raspy singing voice on this dreamy section, which makes up the majority of the song, as he touches on things both familiar and existential.

In addition to "More," FlyLo also dropped a gang of tour dates spanning nearly the entirety of August and September. Things kick off at this year's Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco as he plays August 9th-11th. From there, he moves to one-night stands in cities like Portland, Denver, Toronto, Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans, Dallas, San Diego and way more than a few places in between before wrapping things up in Los Angeles on September 20th. You can check out Flying Lotus' full tour itinerary right after you give "More" a spin below.
