Dive Into Cleo Sol's 'Sweet Blue'

After releasing her soulful single "One" back in February, UK songstress Cleo Sol continues to mark her return with an optimistic ode to those who change the hue of grey skies entitled “Sweet Blue.” Her effortless and exuberant tone immediately entrances the listener as she sings, "Love you more than once, a thousand more lifetimes / Just because I'm young it doesn't mean I'm dumb / I’ll sit here and stay like it’s a holiday / Cuz every day with you makes my day a sweeter blue.” The sweet serenade is enough to lift even the darkest mood and, these days, we could all use a bit more of that.

The accompanying Jeremy Ngatho Cole and Marco Greywith-directed visual exudes a minimalist elegance with its moody lighting and Japanese-inspired texture. Adorned in a beautiful kimono-style blouse, Cleo remains the focal point, drawing the viewer in with her graceful and sometimes playful movements. Her energy is infectious, as she is clearly enjoying herself and is basking in the freedom of expressing her adoration for the one that makes her day a little brighter.

Watch Cleo Sol’s “Sweet Blue” below, and be sure to add it to your inspirational playlist when it is officially released on all streaming platforms on Friday, May 31st. In the meantime, join us in revisiting her debut EP Winter Songs released last year, and keep an eye out for more new music.
