Producer extraordinaire Full Crate recognizes and knows how to capitalize on a good thing when he’s found it, both musically and in his love life. Following the success of his refreshingly romantic track “A Storm on a Summers Day,” the Dutch-Armenian mastermind saw fit to bless fans with an acoustic version and accompanying video. Described as the most personal and honest song he’s ever written and sang, he partners with fellow Dutch vocalist Gaidaa who captures all the passion and sincerity of his endearing lyrics singing, “It's been 5 years, I still love everything about you / Put all our trust in us, there's no more fear / Although I haven't really been the perfect partner / Your mind, your heart and honesty is how I breathe.” Together, they tell the tale of an unexpected yet much-needed love that has stood the test of time.
The visual, shot by Munkicloud at the Red Bull Music Studio in Amsterdam, embodies all the warmth and intimacy of the track. The relaxed vibe is palpable as we watch Gaidaa belt out each note while Crate sits beside her, carefully crafting the melody. In the minimalist, living room-type setting, the two are accompanied by three others who play and sing along, each person deep in the tranquil zone set by the mellow track.
