dvsn Tells A Violent Story Of Love In 'Morning After'

Leading up to the release of their anticipated sophomore set Morning After, OVO sound duo dvsn seemed to be sharing single after single and video after video. That changed after the set's release, however, with the video for "The Mood" being the last we heard from them before they embarked on their Morning After tour. Just when we thought that was all she wrote as far as album promotion was concerned, the fellas surprise us today with a video for the album's title track.

They fall back on the mystery that surrounded them when they first hit the scene, opting not to appear in the video. Instead, they offer a tale the melds Rome and Juliet and Bonnie and Clyde. As the Spanish guitar of the track plays, we meet two children in Mexico City. They seem to have a natural affinity for each other and are fast friends. But just as their story begins, the girl is snatched away. Fast-forward to present day and transported to a seedy bar. It's there that our now-grown-up couple meets again. Sadly, trouble soon finds them as gunmen enter the bar and open fire. Gunplay ensues and one of our protagonists even gets shot (though we won't reveal which one). Will fate separate them once again? You'll have to watch to see what happens.

The cinematic effort falls in line with previous videos from the set, though we wonder if we'll be seeing more from Morning After in the future. See the clip below.
