ASH. Mesmerizes Us With Her 'Moves'

From the time she released her debut single a few years ago, singer-songwriter ASH. impressed us with her sunny vocals, '80s synth-pop vibes and effervescent charm. Clearly, we weren't the only ones impressed with her talents. How many artists can humble-brag that they've slayed stages across the world while backing Janelle Monáe, Stevie Wonder and Prince? Though she could've played it safe and remained in the background, she made the bold decision to spread her creative wings and pursue a solo career.

Her EP's Perfect and Please Like Me earned positive reviews while a stint on BET's Chasing Destiny and a steady touring schedule helped to grow her fanbase. In the past twelve months, she earned an opening slot on PJ Morton's Gumbo Tour and a soundtrack feature for upcoming SXSW and ABFF award-winning film Jinn. Of course, we're stoked to see our girl making money moves. But what we're really excited about is that she just released her first new music of 2018, "I Got the Moves."

Produced by frequent collaborator, fellow Wondaland alum and All Cows Eat Grass frontman, T. Brown, "I Got the Moves" takes us back to the future with magnetic pulses, synthesized beats and dreamy chords. Like an irresistible siren call, her shimmery voice captivates as it floats above the infectious soul-pop arrangement. When she sings, "Dance with me," it actually feels like a hand extended in invitation to the dance floor. Don't leave her hanging, stream "I Got the Moves" below and purchase a copy to dance along with whenever the mood hits.
