Although its ratings have taken a dip, FOX's musical family drama Empire will be returning for a fifth season this fall. Fans will have to wait a couple more months before it premieres in September to see how the cliffhangers from season four's finale shake out. One of the characters whose fate hangs in the balance is none other than Tiana, played by Serayah, whose happily ever after with Hakeem may be coming to a tragic end in a hail of gunfire. While we wait to find out about her future on Empire, we don't have to wait for something new from the actress/singer who is alive and kicking and going full speed ahead with her music career. She's dropped a succession of singles since making her official debut last August with the song "Driving Me," and now she has a music video for her latest summer banger "So Good."
Just like on the song, Serayah comes through dripping in the "So Good" visual. She rocks various trendy looks and switches between blonde and lavender wigs while dancing for her life and getting sexy for the camera. Her scenes filmed with her dancing on and around a chair are particularly tantalizing. Filmed in a warehouse, director Kyle Dijamco keeps the focus exclusively on her throughout the wardrobe and set changes. Though nothing groundbreaking, this is another well-done music video to add to Serayah's arsenal and might just be what she needs to level up.
There's still no word on when we can expect a debut album from the 23-year-old, but we're looking forward to hearing it when and if it drops. For now, get into Serayah's "So Good"
