BJ The Chicago Kid & Ro James Take Us Behind The Scenes For 'Come And Talk To Me' Video

Before hearing a single note, we knew that BJ The Chicago Kid and Ro James' cover of the 1991 Jodeci classic "Come and Talk to Me" would be pure R&B fire. The track not only met but exceeded our expectations, and it sparked a universal desire to hear more from the soulful duo. Known to always give their fans, especially the ladies, what they want, the two have dropped a visual to accompany their remarkable rendition.

The black-and-white video serves the dual purpose of promoting their The R&B Tour while providing a bit of eye candy and capturing behind-the-scenes footage of the photo shoot for the single and tour artwork. We spot their wardrobe, including everything from combat boots and sneakers to medallions and pinky rings, all while BJ and Ro strike playful and provocative poses. Of course, no photo shoot would be complete without a bit of smoke and bottles of Hennessy to ensure our subjects are feeling loose in front of the camera. As an added and unexpected bonus, the scene switches to a colorized nighttime capture in which the duo is joined by singer/songwriter/actor Luke James for a performance shot in front of a red Ferrari. The video is a peek at the charisma and chemistry between these artists, as well as the type of energy that can be expected on the tour.

The R&B Tour kicks off tonight in Atlanta, so grab your tickets now to catch BJTCK and Ro as they rock out in nine other cities over the next couple weeks. Both artists have released teaser EPs in advance of their highly-anticipated sophomore albums. BJ’s three-track collection The Opening Ceremony is currently in heavy rotation and Ro’s Smoke EP set the tone for Mirrors, which is slated to drop later this spring. While we wait to see what else these talented fellas have on the horizon, check out this exclusive look at BJ The Chicago Kid and Ro James kicked back and being themselves in their “Come and Talk To Me” visual.
