Tall Black Guy Takes André 3000's 'Me & My' To A Soulful Place

On Mother's Day, our eyes got a little sweaty as we listened to two new tracks from André 3000. The Outkast emcee finally joined Instagram and pulled at our heartstrings at the same damn time when he released Look Ma No Handsa two-song tribute to his parents. One of the tracks, "Me & My (To Bury Your Parents)," inspired producer and remixer Tall Black Guy to add his own special touch to the sentimental release, and he makes our eyes sweat all over again with "Me & My (To Bury Your Parents) TBG Soul Searching EDIT."

On SoundCloud, the producer said, "This André 3000 song really spoke to me. He was talking about his parents and how much he missed them. And it had me think about my own relationship with my parents over the years. Basically, he only just sang over the piano. So I added drums, bass, rhodes, and strings to it. Hope you all enjoy!" TBG stays true to the original track and respectfully leaves André's vocals and ad-libs in place, but his additional instrumentals lift the track to make the lamentation a celebration.
