It's going to be a long trip to Wakanda, so you'll need a fire playlist to keep you entertained. Thankfully, Top Dawg Entertainment star Kendrick Lamar and TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith are on music duty, and the artwork and tracklist for the highly anticipated Black Panther: The Album - Music from and Inspired by Black Panther have been revealed. The 14-track album features The Weeknd, ScHoolBoy Q, Anderson .Paak, Travis Scott, Khalid, 2 Chainz, Future, Jorja Smith and many more. Kung Fu Kenny appears on five tracks, including cuts with labelmates Jay Rock and SZA. There was speculation that Beyoncé would appear on the soundtrack, but alas Queen B is leaving it up to the TDE family to deliver this one on their own.
Speaking of TDE, the label's roster of artists are headed on their first-ever tour featuring Kendrick, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, SiR, Ab-Soul and Lance Skiiwalker. Aptly titled The Championship Tour, the gang gang will kick things off in Vancouver on May 4th then head to Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Chicago and more cities before wrapping in Pittsburgh on June 16th. Tickets for the 29-city tour are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
The movie Black Panther drops on February 16th nationwide, and the album drops February 9th via Interscope Records.
