Black Thought Spits Hot S**t & The Internet Goes Nuts
A constant question in hip-hop circles is who someone's top five emcees are. However, if The Roots' rapper Black Thought isn't on your list, then sorry, my friend, your list is suspect. The accomplished spitter pretty much verified this when he sat down with Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex and proceeded to spit a vicious, non-stop 10-minute freestyle. And when we say vicious, we mean vicious. He touched on everything from our current political climate to a "pre-Kardashian Kanye." His freestyle went viral and pretty much broke the internet. But, of course, it didn't do so without ruffling a few feathers. A group of slightly slow bunnies was offended not by Black's content, but his name, with some wondering what people would think if there were a rapper named "white thought." *sigh*.
