Beyoncé, Donald Glover Announced As Part Of Live-Action 'Lion King' Cast

After months of speculation, the cat — or lion, rather — is out of the bag. Disney has confirmed the full cast for their live-action remake of their beloved The Lion King and Beyoncé will be part of the number. The news was confirmed after Bey uploaded a pic of the full cast, along with their roles, to her official Facebook accounts. Bey will play Nala while Donald Glover will take the lead role of Simba. Reprising his memorable role of Mufasa will be the legendary James Earl Jones. Other cast notables include Alfre Woodard, Eric Andre and Chiwitel Ejiofor. The live-action film is expected to release in July 2019. #LongLiveTheLionKing
