Ledisi Throws A Swinging Party In 'Add To Me'

Ledisi is probably feeling really good this morning, as she's waking up to the news that she's been nominated for three GRAMMY Awards, including Best R&B Album for her recent opus Let Love Rule. With that kind of news, we're sure the songstress might want to celebrate with a party, and she does just that in the lovely visuals for "Add To Me."

The for the song has an instant vintage feel, with the clip taking place in what looks like a speakeasy and each partygoer dressed to the nines and looking like they stepped out of the glamorous club scenes of black movies from different eras. However, the bell of this here ball is Ledisi, and she arrives to stroll the scene and say hello to a few of her notable friends (yeah, we see you Rahsaan PattersonDarius McCrary and Ernest Thomas). But while Led navigates the affair with ease, she does get caught up when she sees on particular fly fellow (played by Queen Sugar's Timon Kyle Durrett) who's just to fine to walk past.Theire chemistry is shown in spurts throughout the video, but just as the song's lyrics suggest, it's all about Ledisi and the focus on the video is mainly on her — as it should be.

Congrats to Ledisi on her GRAMMY noms and we hope that she'll walk away with some hardware from the ceremony next year. Celebrate with us by watching "Add To Me" below.
