BADBADNOTGOOD Takes Us On A Smooth Ride With Their 'Confessions'

Canadian quartet BADBADNOTGOOD are back to supply us with a consistent helping of jazz in their latest offering "Confessions Pt. III." To ensure they efficiently play with our emotions, they enlist the help of  saxophonist and multireedist Colin Stetson, a regular collaborator of indie rock acts such as Arcade Fire and Bon Iver. Like "Confessions" from the band's album III and "Confessions Pt. II" from IV (also featuring Stetson), the latest track continues the hypnotic trip they invited us to. This time, though, a steady bass line supports the wind instruments that reign supreme, making a steady ride for seven good minutes.

The track is an easy, breezy listen and adds meditative vibes you just may be looking for on a stressful day. On Instagram, the group shared their excitement, saying, "Wanted to share a new song today from some amazing recording time at Studio 69 with @colinstetson !! #ConfessionsptIII!!! we are currently starting our Fall/Winter tour and are very excited to hang and share posi energy aka good vibrations with ya'll." Share away, fellas! We'll be here to catch whatever you throw at us.

The BBNG players — Matthew TavaresChester HansonAlex Sowinski and Leland Whitty — are making a stop near you during their Fall/Winter tour. They're going from the East Coast to down south, then spend the majority of November in Europe and later make their return to the U.S. until mid-December. Don't miss your chance to see them live, and get yourself a copy of IV via Bandcamp or iTunes. You can purchase tickets on their website and get a sample of what you can expect when you press play on "Confessions Pt.
