Eric Roberson Isn't Ashamed To 'Love Her'

One of the hardest working men in music is at it again. Back in February, SoulBounce fam Eric Roberson announced his EP trilogy Earth + Wind + Fire, and the first installment was released in April. As we continue to get our entire lives from his EP Earth, he gives us just what we need to get into the full swing of summer with "Love Her," the first single from the next installment in the EP trilogy. From its easy, breezy tempo to its catchy hook to its lustful subject matter, the track captures several elements of the mood prompted by warm weather. As always, Erro puts his whole heart into singing about a woman he loves, even though in this case, she’s good for little more than her goodies. While he admits, “All my friends wonder why I’m still with her / She don’t clean, no she never cooks dinner,” he stands firm and declares. “I could love her for her lovin’ alone/ That’s why I’ll never, ever leave her alone / ’Cause she’s fine and she’s mine.” Only the one and only Eric Roberson can make being whipped sound so very good.

Known for his engaging and personable nature with fans, for this EP trilogy, Eric has granted fellow lovers of soul an inside look at his creative method with the unique offering entitled “The Process.” ERFlings who purchase this package actually embark on the journey of the creation of the EPs as they gain exclusive access to the music created on a weekly basis and are invited to comment. They also get to hear ideas and demos (including those that didn’t make the cut), gain access to live chat sessions and receive digital downloads, autographed physical copies and discounted merchandise. This candid and interactive move is sure to keep old and new fans excited about all that’s to come from our longtime R&B favorite.

“Love Her” is the lead single from the forthcoming EP Wind, due to be released July 18th. Check it out below. And, if by some slight chance you haven’t already, be sure to purchase Earth and pre-order the rest of the trilogy on his website.
