Robert Glasper Experiment, Macy Gray, Moonchild & More To Perform At The 40th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival


Established in 1978, the Atlanta Jazz Festival has showcased jazz legends and up-and-coming artists to millions of music lovers from all around the world who flock to the capital of Georgia annually. In that time, the festival has welcomed everyone from Dizzy Gillespie to Miles Davis to Joi to Thundercat to their stage. As the festival prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary this upcoming Memorial Day weekend, May 26th-28th, the lineup sounds like it will continue to honor its proud legacy.

Robert Glasper Experiment returns to the festival to kick off the festivities on Friday night. On Saturday, Macy Gray hits the stage to bring her special brand of raspy soul/pop to audiences. Other performers include Moonchild, Julie Dexter, Cleveland P. Jones and Brenda Nicole Moorer, who are all SoulBounce approved and have graced our pages over the years.
