Jennifer Hudson Takes 'Remember Me' To 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Jennifer Hudson stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform "Remember Me," the first single from her upcoming album. The songstress has been making her rounds as of late promoting the track, releasing the visual for the track just a few weeks ago. For the performance, J. Hud sauntered on stage wearing black leather from head to toe, paired with thigh-high red boots and a matching lip for extra drama.

Effortlessly singing the first verse, the songstress had the audience in her hands, along with the live band and background trio. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention Jennifer's powerhouse vocals. We're pretty sure she belts out tunes in her sleep but it's always amazing to see live. This powerful performance of "Remember Me" is unforgettable, that's for sure. Along with performing, Jennifer sat down with Ellen and got a surprise in the form of a GRAMMY for "Best Musical Theater Album" for the Broadway hit The Color Purple.

The singer has been on a roll lately with her two singles, an overseas gig on The Voice UK and her most recent acting role in the Netflix comedy Sandy Wexler. Based on everything we've seen from Jennifer Hudson lately, it looks like she's laying the foundation for a solid 2017, so we're just going to get comfortable and watch what she comes up with next. Feel free to scoot on over next to us and watch Jennifer's performance of "Remember Me" and then watch her accept her GRAMMY from Ellen right here.
