Boddhi Satva & Bilal Believe That 'Love Will' Make A Difference In The World

Belgium-based DJ/producer Boddhi Satva drew inspiration from his native Central African Republic home to create a new sub-genre of house music called Ancestral Soul. Equally as impressive is his ability to pair those infectious arrangements with some of our favorite artists. His 2015 album Transition included collaborations with Omar Lye-Fook (aka Omar) and Teedra Moses among many others, and his newest release "Love Will" features eargasmic singer/songwriter Bilal.

For "Love Will," Satva provides aural escapism with a lush arrangement that fuses elements of deep house, cosmic synth, tribal percussion and his signature Ancestral Soul sound. The result is a gratifying contradiction of will, simultaneously invoking uninhibited dance and soothing mediation. Over this hypnotic groove, Bilal's falsetto shines like a beacon while he sings, "Love will be your light, love will bring you home / In the darkest night, from the deepest hole / Love will be your light, love will lead you home." Satva recently expounded on the theme, telling Billboard Dance that the track "is a message of hope in these very difficult times the world is facing. It's an ode to hope and resilience found within through acceptance and love."

We'll have to wait until March 10th for the full version of the song along with remixes and instrumentals. Thankfully, the "Radio Mix" is satisfying enough to hold us over until then. You can pre-order the "Love Will" maxi-single (with an instant download of the "Radio Mix") now via iTunes. For those who need to get caught up on Boddhi Satva's current catalogue, head to Bandcamp to download Transition or immerse yourself in the sonic richness of his SoundCloud page. Over the next three months, Boddhi will tour select cities in Europe, the UK and Africa. Check the flyer below and keep up with the busy artist on Twitter and Instagram.
