Get Ready To Go On A 'Girls Trip' With Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, Regina Hall & Tiffany Haddish


Hollywood is continuing to help us get our lives with an onslaught of projects starring Black women to tickle our funny bone, warm our souls and give us all the #BlackGirlMagic we can stand. The latest is the film Girls Trip, a Black women-led comedy starring Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, Regina Hall and Tiffany Haddish.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee (The Best Man Holiday), and written by Kenya Barris (Black-ish) and Tracy Oliver (Misadventures of an Awkward Black Girl), the writing team behind Barbershop 3, Girls Trip will tell the story of four friends who make the trip to New Orleans for ESSENCE Festival, where the movie was actually filmed on location last July. Over the course of the vacay, some romance, some brawling, some sister-girl bonding and some wild “white-girl-wasted” antics ensue.
