Frank Ocean & Migos 'Slide' Into Calvin Harris' Pop Perfection

Though we're still in the midst of winter, the strange weather has it feeling more like spring in these streets. Rather than worry about the horrible global implications of the unseasonably warm weather (because global warming doesn't exist, right?) we're instead looking to songs that evoke that spring-summer feeling. Luckily we've got a new jam from the unlikely combination of Frank Ocean, Migos, Calvin Harris and a sunny pop groove called "Slide."

For the track, Calvin, the man behind pop hits like the Rihanna-featuring "This Is What You Came For," starts simple enough with a wistful piano lead-in. It's joined by Frank's pitched-up vocals before it heads full-on into a catchy, bass guitar-driven groove. "Do you slide on all your nights like this?" Frank asks on the opening chorus. "Do you try on all your nights like this?" From there, he drops a verse that relates back to his album Blonde while also dropping that he might be draped up in jewelry. Migos' Quavo and Offset offer up tag-team verses expanding on Frank's premise as they rap about jewels, women and mansions while flossing over the beat.

To say that "Slide" is a jam would be a serious understatement. Stream the feel good song right here, and pick it up on iTunes right now.
