Last month, we were saddened to learn that trombonist Jeff Bradshaw was suffering from a rare case of diverticulitis, a painful and serious condition affecting the digestive system. As he undergoes multiple intensive treatments, medical expenses are mounting. His friends, family and fans continue to lift him in prayer, surround him in love and even organized a GoFundMe account to help him.
To date, his GoFundMe page has raised over $20,000, but there is still a ways to go. So this month, the stars have aligned in a way that we will ALL benefit from. On Friday, January 20th, Eric Roberson will host the Brotherly Love Benefit Concert. The event will be held in the Philly native’s hometown at the Theater of Living Arts and will feature a stellar line-up. Jill Scott, Robert Glasper and Bilal have all signed up to support their fellow Philadelphian, along with saxophonist/flautist Najee, Kenny Lattimore, Raheem DeVaughn and Algebra Blessett. Tickets for this concert with a purpose are on sale now via Live Nation.
