Legal troubles aside, Big Freedia has had a pretty good year career-wise. A high-profile feature on Beyoncé's multiple GRAMMY-nominated hit "Formation" and a successful fifth season of Fuse reality show Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce have helped propel the entertainer from New Orleans fixture to worldwide phenomenon. Smartly taking advantage of the momentum, Big Freedia is closing out the year with a bounce (and a twerk), releasing A Very Big Freedia Christmazz just in time for your holiday merriment and/or debauchery.

Like Khia's recent loosie, this EP ain't for everyone – so if you're looking for wholesome family carols, you're in the wrong aisle. But there's a reason Christmazz got a shout out on our Holiday Gift Guide this year. Incorporating tunes that run the gamut from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Suite to The Chordettes' "Mr. Sandman," the five-track project is full of cheeky humor and inescapable beats. Irreverent send-ups of holiday standards like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Jingle Bell Rock" and A Visit From St. Nicholas (commonly known as 'Twas the Night Before Christmas) will invigorate any holiday playlist, while original song "So Frosty" will melt your face with its diva-sanctioned fierceness. The real pearl-clutcher of the set might be "Santa is A Gay Man," with references to kinky toys, bending over and Dirty Steves. Overall, though, the album is just plain fun that will have you singing along with Freedia, "All I want for Christmas is the beat, the beat!"

Scroll down and warm up those glutes to the Ms. Tee-featuring album opener "Rudy, The Big Booty Reindeer," then get ready to jiggle, twerk and dip it low while the rest of the album plays. After the preview, purchase a full copy of A Very Big Freedia Christmazz to inject some permanent bounce into your season. And be sure to follow Big Freedia on Twitter and Instagram for updates on her sophomore LP, Pressing Onward, set to drop next year.
