Since releasing her sophomore album, The Dreaming Room, earlier this year, singer Laura Mvula has been keeping busy performing around the world, including her recently-launched UK tour. She's showing no signs of slowing up in the new year when she kicks off a mini U.S. tour.
Through a spate of six dates, lucky fans in Los Angeles; Miami; New York; San Francisco; Cambridge, MA and Washington, D.C., will have a chance the see her live. Mvula will kick things off February 20, 2017 when she takes to the stage at the Ground Up Festival in Miami. She'll later wrap things up in the city of Angels at the Teragram. Her New York stop finds her at New York City's Jazz at Lincoln Center, where she will be participating in Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series.
While we hope the British songbird adds some more dates to her trip across the pond, we can at least soothe our anticipation with the release of the special edition of The Dreaming Room. Set to be released November 25th, the album will feature all of the songs from the original with the addition of five new tracks, "Magic (BBC Live Version)," "Mellow Man," "Same Old Mistake," "Silence is the Way" and "You Work For Me."
