Alicia Keys has come a long way since the beginning of her relationship with super-producer Swizz Beatz and so has her relationship with his former wife, Mashonda. Though things between the two got pretty rocky, they were able to come together and iron out their differences for the sake of their children. It was evident when Alicia dropped HERE's latest single "Blended Family (What You Do For Love)," which addressed their situation directly, and it's even more evident in the single's newly released video.
For the clip, Alicia focuses on family, starting things out with scenes of her and Swizz's brood (with Mashonda participating in the familial activities, mind you) before segueing into images of other families celebrating the love they have for one another. It's pretty heartwarming to see families of all ages, races and colors come together, especially after the general feeling of general malaise that last week brought. Even the song's guest A$AP Rocky gets cutesy with his folks while delivering her verse before he and Alicia come together to further spread their message of love and unity.
