Since its launch, Natural Hair Mag has dedicated itself to promoting healthy hair and self-love to its readers. Now, the online portal has set its sights on promoting a healthy lifestyle and self-empowerment across the board thanks to its inaugural Natural Health and Hair Summit, which will take place Saturday, October 1st in Atlanta. Designed with the intent to educate women of color about embracing a more holistic approach to living, the event will feature appearances from the likes of experts such as Queen Afua, Chef Ahki and rapper-turned-fitness guru Solé.
As expected in a city like Atlanta, music will also play an an integral role in the one-day event. Singer Anthony David, who just released his sixth studio album The Powerful Now last month, will serve as the event's host while DJ Beverly Bond will (wo)man the DJ booth. Summit attendees will also be treated to live performances from Vivian Green, Dwele and Goapele.
