With such a strong initial outing, it only makes sense that anticipation for a full-length project from this young man is pretty high. We won’t have to wait much longer since his debut full-length album, Topia, is set to drop September 9th. Thane pulls out the big guns for this concept album, which features guest appearances from the likes of current collabo-king Anderson.Paak, BJ the Chicago Kid, Mick Jenkins, Low Leaf and more. Explaining his collaboration choices, Thane says, “A lot of the sounds here represent the energy I feel that my home city Milwaukee has. Instead of choosing the route of collaborating with artists inside the scene here, I wanted to find artists who I felt captured and amplified the energy that I personally felt with my production and went to whatever lengths to make those collaborations happen.”

Check out Thane’s introductory EP Gravity and be sure to check back on Friday to preview his debut album, Topia, before it’s available in online stores to find out why this young man is definitely an artist to watch.
