Will You Be Addicted To Slim's 'Drug'?

If you thought because he was hitting the road with his 112 cohorts this summer that Slim would be putting his solo career on hold, then you thought wrong. In the midst of preparing for the highly-anticipated Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, the singer is still finding time to promote his latest project, Refueled, which dropped last month on Shanachie Records. "Drug," the second single from the album, gets a sensual lyric video.

Sticking with the if-it-ain't-broke-don't-fix-it method, Slim stays pretty close to the type of material that made 112 a hit to begin with. He knows what works for him and doesn't stray too far from that formula. The song itself is filled with every reference to drugs under the sun to describe how addictive his sex can be. While it was a bit uninspiring for this writer, fans of his past material may consider themselves lucky. As for the lyric video, he's also sticking to a familiar formula, more or less. It uses images of several celebrities such as Jhené Aiko and Halle Berry, along with a host of other beauties, as the lyrics flash across the screen. He enlisted the same method for the lyric video for album's first single, "Killin' Em Girl."

Find out if Slim's "Drug" is as addictive as he promises, then make sure to catch him when he, along with Faith Evans, Lil Kim, Ma$e, Total and Carl Thomas, comes to a city near you with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour.
