Fresh from the release of the album Everything's Beautiful the day before, the Robert Glasper Experiment brought their jazz vibes to the 2nd Annual ATL Soul Life Music Festival. Wedged in between performances by R&B and soul vocalists, Robert Glasper's group held it down with Casey Benjamin providing vocals on songs such as "Big Girl Body." Familiar songs came next, including instrumental covers of Kendrick Lamar's "How Much a Dollar Cost" and Joe's "All the Things Your Man Won't Do." Glasper made sure to incorporate songs from his GRAMMY winning album Black Radio -- "Aw Yeah" and "Gonna Be Alright (F.T.B.)" -- to the audience's delight. Prince was heavy on everyone's mind, including the Robert Glasper Experiment who closed their show with a medley of "If I Was Your Girlfriend" and Jeffrey Osborne's "More Than They Can See" that you had to hear to believe. Trust us that it was fire, though.
